Recruitment marketplace Job Korea has introduced AI-based recommendations and search services to improve its matching accuracy for jobseekers.
The South Korea-based site is owned by Job Korea Inc., which also runs a part-time job site at Albamon.com and a niche job board focused on the gaming industry at GameJob.co.kr. The Seek Asia-backed company is also engaged in various rectech and offline employment support services.
The new AI job recommendation service provides information based on the behavior patterns and preferences of jobseekers, who can browse personalized ads in the recommended list by swiping right and left. The company has also improved its search filter with an additional autocomplete function based on machine learning. A user can click on a company’s image to access the employer information section, according to a media statement.
Job Korea competes mainly with Saramin.co.kr, with the pair vying for the No. 1 position in terms of traffic, according to SimilarWeb. In last three months, Saramin led the pack with an average of 10.6 million visits, compared to Job Korea’s 7.9 million.
